Who can Participate
The Prudential Center Artisan Market is a juried art and craft show. All items must be HAND-CRAFTED of the highest quality workmanship, originality and creativity. No item which is imported, manufactured, unfinished, kit-crafted, mass produced, or purchased will be considered.

How to Apply
The Prudential Center Artisan Market is a juried show. All applicants will be reviewed for acceptance.  To apply, please fill out the “Online Application” at the bottom of this page, select a minimum of three scheduled dates. After you have submitted the form, please send 4 digital pictures to info@southendopenmarket.com. Three of your product and one of your booth display. Online applicants will receive notification within one week.

Vendor Fees and Payment Deadlines
To be considered, each applicant must select a minimum of three dates from our operating schedule at a cost of $200.00 per Sunday. The combined payment for all of the dates you have selected is due October 24, 2008. Payment plans will not be accepted.  If you choose to add additional dates later on, payment is due upon confirmation.

Refunds and Date switching
Refunds will not be granted for any paid, reserved dates. Dates may not be switched.

Set-Up and Operations of Vendor Booths
The Prudential Center Artisan Market is a juried art and craft show. All items must be HAND-CRAFTED of the highest quality workmanship, originality and creativity.

No item which is imported, manufactured, unfinished, kit-crafted, mass produced, or purchased will be considered.

Licensor shall not be responsible for loss, damage or theft of Licensee’s property during or subsequent to such removal from the License Premises.

Setup times are assigned in groups. An email with the specific time for each vendor is sent Friday prior to every market.  Our staff will assign spaces to vendors as they arrive at the market.

Vendors must abide by rules and regulations of the loading docks, freight elevators and parking garage during unloading and loading of materials. Only carts with pneumatic wheels are permitted on the floor.  Vendors can park at the loading/unloading docks for thirty (30) minutes.  Two options for loading/unloading:  Access freight elevator from Prudential Tower Dock (Service Area B on Belvidere Street) or 111 Loading Dock (Service Area A on Huntington Avenue). Vendors will receive the discounted day parking rate of $15 for one vehicle (one parking pass per vendor).

Booths must be staffed during operating hours, 12:00PM - 6:00PM.

Breakdown of booths before 6:00PM is not permitted. Operations of the market should not be disrupted, nor the safety and convenience of shoppers or vendors be jeopardized.

Vendors must furnish their own tables, chairs and displays.

Tables must be covered to the floor with a tablecloth or skirting.

All materials, equipment, supplies, personal items, etc. must be kept out of sight and be stored under the table hidden by skirting at all times.

Vendors must keep their crafts in their assigned area.  Due to fire restrictions, all aisles must be kept free and clear at all times.  This rule will be strictly enforced.

Vendors must display a sign identifying the artists or business name.  All signage must be professionally produced – no hand written signs. Signage must be securely attached to table, booth or stall as not to interfere or impede foot traffic. No signage can be affixed to the building structure or glass.

If you request an electrical outlet, please note that electrical outlets are in limited supply, and cannot be guaranteed. Vendor must supply electrical cord. Only UL approved equipment may be used. Please limit your usage to 40-watt bulbs.

Vendors are responsible for keeping their space attractive during market hours and for cleaning up their space after the market closes, including removal of garbage and sweeping up any loose debris. Vendors leaving debris or garbage at rented space will be fined or not welcome to return.

Each vendor is responsible for the reporting of and the payment to the Massachusetts Department of Revenue of all required taxes resulting from the sales made at the Prudential Center Artisan Market.

Vendors are strictly prohibited from soliciting, hawking, yelling out, or engaging in activities otherwise designed to attract attention to their products. Engaging
the shoppers in a manner in which the manager feels disruptive is terms for immediate dismissal.

There is to be NO use of alcoholic beverages or controlled substances. NO disorderly conduct, vulgar or profane language. Smoking is only permitted in outdoor designated smoking areas.

No burning or flammable products.

No radios, televisions, or other distractive devices are allowed.

Sitting on the floor in and around the common area is prohibited.

No denim, shorts or overly casual dress is permitted.  Attire considered to be inappropriate in a professional work environment is not permitted.

Visible/Obvious eating and/or drinking should be kept to a minimum.

The Prudential Artisan Market reserves the right to refuse or terminate any vendor who does not comply with the above guidelines.

Vendor Agreement
Vendor agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NE Open Markets LLC, The Prudential Center and its officers, directors, volunteers, officials, employees, and agents from and against any and all liabilities, claims, suits, and causes of action of whatever nature or type (including but not limited to causes of action based upon tort, strict liability or otherwise), and all attorney fees, costs, and expenses incidental thereto, which may arise or in any way be connected directly or indirectly, with Vendor‘s participation in the Market. This indemnification is absolute, personal to the Vendor, and is not limited by the insurance coverage, which the Vendor may have in place. Vendor understands that NE Open Markets LLC, The Prudential Center is under no obligation to provide insurance to cover the Vendor for loss from any cause to any of Vendor's property.

Promoter Statement
The Prudential Center Artisan Market managers and promoters reserve the right to restrict or terminate any vendor’s activity or remove any product, which, in their opinion, is objectionable or inappropriate or is detrimental to the quality of the event as a whole. In the event of any restrictions or evictions, the Prudential Center Artisan Market and its affiliates will not be liable for any refund of rental or other expenses.

The Prudential Center Artisan Market managers and promoters reserve the right to remove, without refund or recourse, any exhibitor who misrepresents themselves or their product. In addition, the promoter reserves the right not to select vendors who may not be suitable for the market.

The Prudential Center Artisan Market reserves the right to amend or add to the applicable rules pertaining to and governing the Prudential Center Artisan Market at any time during and before the operating season. All participating vendors at the Prudential Center Artisan Market will be made aware of all additions or amendments. The interpretation of all the rules by the promoters shall be final.

Vendor Agreement

Vendor agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NE Open Markets LLC, and its officers, directors, volunteers, officials, employees, and agents from and against any and all liabilities, claims, suits, and causes of action of whatever nature or type (including but not limited to causes of action based upon tort, strict liability or otherwise), and all attorney fees, costs, and expenses incidental thereto, which may arise or in any way be connected directly or indirectly, with Vendor‘s participation in the Market. This indemnification is absolute, personal to the Vendor, and is not limited by the insurance coverage which the Vendor may have in place. Vendor understands that NE Open Markets LLC, is under no obligation to provide insurance to cover the Vendor for loss from any cause to any of Vendor's property.
